Illustrious Sir A.C. Fulton
Potentate - 1924
Probably the most significant event in Potentate A. C. Fulton’s year of 1924 was his swing around the Magic Valley with his minstrel show, band, patrol, and baseball team. For a week, this group of over a hundred Nobles traveled by special train to towns in all parts of the valley including Brownsville. The trip proved of great value to Arabia Temple and made many friends for Shrinedom at all points visited.
The Temple had charge of Luna Park for a week in October which brought in the sum of $1,500. The Crippled Children’s Ball in February netted more than $12,000, a new high in this activity.
At the Imperial Council session in Kansas City, the law fixing the time of the annual meetings of the constituent Temples was changed from December of each year to January.
For the past five years, Arabia Temple operated their Crippled Children’s Clinic by appointed committees. At the November meeting, an amendment to the Temple by-laws creating a Board of Directors for the management of the Clinic was adopted.
