Potentate – 1923
Noble C. Ed Settegast was elected Potentate for the year 1923. The recently-acquired property was repaired and became revenue producing. A highly successful Crippled Childrens’ Ball realized almost $9,000.
For the first time, three units – Patrol, Band, and Drum and Bugle Corps – ably represented Arabia Temple at the Imperial Council sessions in Washington, D.C.
The annual minstrel show at the City Auditorium netted $1,900, and the show was repeated at Brenham in May. However, the circus was not repeated this year. The year closed with a total enrollment of 3,579 members.
