Arabia Divan Attends Texas Shrine Association Mid-Winter Meeting

Austin, Texas – Members of the Arabia Divan traveled to Austin to participate in the annual Texas Shrine Association (TSA) Mid-Winter Meeting, joining Shrine leaders from across the state for a weekend of fellowship, planning, and collaboration. The Mid-Winter Meeting serves as an important touchpoint for Texas temples, providing leadership updates, strategic discussions, and opportunities to strengthen the bonds between Shrines throughout the state. Arabia was well represented as the Divan engaged in meetings, shared ideas, and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the broader mission of Shriners. The TSA staff, led by President Charles Maddox, provided comprehensive updates on statewide initiatives, upcoming events, and continued efforts to promote Shrine activities across Texas. Attendees also heard from Imperial Sirs Marty Bartlett and David Hamm, along with Scott Schuster, who offered insight into national priorities and organizational direction. In true TSA fashion, the weekend wasn’t without a little good-natured fun. Arabia’s Oriental Guide David Prentice had the opportunity to experience some classic TSA “shenanigans” — all in the spirit of camaraderie and all for a good cause. The lighthearted moments served as a reminder that fellowship and fellowship-driven service remain central to the Shrine experience. As the meeting concluded, Arabia’s leadership returned home encouraged and energized, ready to continue advancing the temple’s mission of service, fellowship, and support of Shriners Children’s. The Texas Shrine Association Mid-Winter Meeting once again demonstrated the strength of Texas Masonry and the unity that binds Shrine temples across the Lone Star State.
