Building Committee Update: Planning for Our Facilities Together

Arabia Family,

Our Arabia Building Committee has been hard at work exploring what future facilities could look like—and we’re excited to share a positive update with you!

This process is not about rushing decisions but about thoughtful planning, listening, and making sure we are prepared for the years ahead.

We are all concerned that discussions about facilities, location, and membership can sometimes feel sensitive and create anxiety about what might be next.

This is a collaborative journey, and every voice matters.

Over the past several weeks, the committee has been working for you:

• Gathering ideas and feedback from the Board and data resources

• Exploring possibilities for improvement and long-term needs

• Focusing on how we can best support our members, events, and community

• Drafting move-out plan, logistics plan, space utilization plan, and a relocation plan

  
  

What is next?

• Town hall style meetings with unit and club officers

• Surveys to the Nobility

• Final touches to two plans: Move Out Plan, and Search Criteria and Move-In Plan: Requirements for a temporary location, functionality, and layout.

  
  

This process is a shared commitment that ensures whatever path we take reflects our collective values, our traditions, and our vision for the future.

There are no final decisions currently in process, which is intentional. We are taking the time to do this right—with your input, working together.

As we continue this process, there will be opportunities for input from you and open discussion. We urge and encourage you to participate, ask questions, and share your thoughts. Your perspective is an important part of shaping what comes next.
